Driven by the popularity of our Savannah and Fiji series Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) systems, Cambridge NanoTech is looking for detail oriented candidates with a chemistry, physics, or materials science backgrounds.

European Sales/Support Scientist

In this role you will work closely with our Director of European Sales and our Cambridge, MA based scientists and engineers in an effort to assist the Director of European Sales in developing new sales opportunities and working with existing clients to create additional sales opportunities.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Travel with our Director of European Sales and/or local European Distributors to client sites across Europe
  • Analyze existing and new accounts for ALD equipment and thin film coating process requirements and solutions
  • Work with the VP of Technology, engineering and scientists at our Cambridge, MA based facility
  • Develop technical solutions after fact finding visits to client sites to further CNT sales in the European region

    • Eagerness to learn with a self-starter attitude within a fast moving environment
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Experience with Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD), equipment, tools and processes
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or Physics (MS/Ph.D preferred)
    • Willingness to travel up to 50% to client sites in Europe
    • 2-5 years scientific experience within Thin Film Coatings (ideally ALD), semiconductor marketplace
